Anti-Virus software

You may already have an antivirus program installed on your computer. Please ensure that this is updated regularly, we recomend checking for updates daily and performing a full system scan at least once a week.

If you do not have an anti-virus program installed there are several free options.

Most Universities will provide a free Anti-Virus software to their students for the duration of their study. Ask your University IT support for more information about this.

Alternatively anyone can use AVG Anti-Virus for personal use. You will have to register with AVG to get this software. This can be Download from the AVG Anti-virus software website.
