 Victim of crime

If you have been a victim of crime you should report it to the Police on: 0845 6060606.

In an emergency situation where your life may be threatened you should call the Police on: 999

Leeds and Bradford has a large student population which is part of a wider community of individuals. Where there are students living in large numbers, criminal acts can and do take place. If you have been a victim of crime, Unipol would like to obtain some details so that we can look into particular themes or occurrences. We may also need to liaise with the Police regarding specific incidents. Please inform Unipol immediately if an incident has taken place.

Please remember while understandably being distressed and upset if a crime has been committed, students are the highest group of young people to be victims of crime. Students most often are burgled through an open door or window (sneak-in burglaries) so Unipol work closely with the Police in promoting being safe and secure.
