What to bring with you to University
You should bring items to make your room homely, things you needs to study, in addition to bedding and cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
- You will need
- Bedding (sheets, duvet, pillows)
- Cooking utensils
- Pots and pans to cook with
- Cutlery - knives, forks, spoons
- Crockery - plates and bowls
- Towels
- Bedside lamp
Some things you will only need one per flat, so do not buy them specially as you may end up with about 5. If you have them already, they may be worth bringing.
When you arrive you can always shop with your housemates and each person buy one of items you need (which will be useful during your University studues and beyond)
- Kettle
- Toaster
- Microwave (provided at Royal Park and Garden House)
- Iron
So that you do not have to shop the moment you arrive, you may wish to bring
- Tea & coffee
- Milk
- Toilet roll
- Breakfast cereal
- Basic food stuffs (pasta, rice, tins of tomatos, salt, pepper, sugar)
