The Development

The development is an important Grade II listed nineteenth-century warehouse, converted to commercial premises on the ground floor and three floors of student accommodation above. It is situated in the heart of the city, next to the City Art Gallery, Henry Moore Sculpture Centre and Town Hall.

The development won a Commendation in the City of Leeds Architecture Awards in 1996 when it was completed. Internally the development is stylish with some laminate flooring, well designed lighting and modern kitchens.

Facilities

Each flat has two showers and a kitchen/diner with a soft-furnished living area. A washer/drier is provided within the rent level.

All rooms have double beds. Heating and hot water is provided by energy efficient combi boiler systems. There is a high standard of energy and sound insulation including secondary window glazing. Full heat and smoke detector fire system with fire doors and protected exit route.

Security

Entry to the flats is through a courtyard into two communal stairwells, with fob-entry, an intercom system and internal secure doors to each flat.

Internet TV and Telephone

TV aerial points are provided in each kitchen and bedroom. A telephone socket (subject to connection or reconnection to the network at the tenant's expense) is fitted in each room with a communal phone point in the kitchen. 

There is internet access available in each room inclusive in the rent.

Parking

There is no car parking available on the site and no long term street parking within the vicinity. Short-term car parking is available on adjacent meters at high cost.
