Shay Street and Holborn Terrace is a development which has been converted specially for students with dependants from the University of Leeds. There are 55 three bedroom maisonette style flats, each flat being over two floors (ground and first floor or second and third floor with access from a covered walkway).
The development is situated about 1.5 miles (2km) from the main University campus
The flats have been renovated to a high standard including the fitting of energy efficient gas fired central heating systems, well designed kitchens and modern bathrooms with showers. Each flat has three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and separate W.C. Ground floor flats have their own small fenced garden.
There are five buildings, each comprising 12 flats in each (there are 5 flats which we do not manage), with grassed and planted garden areas. There is a perimeter fence to the flats.
Access to the site is through gates with door entry intercoms and a code entry system. All ground floor flats have a burglar alarm.
The development is managed by Unipol Student Homes and the flats are allocated by The University of Leeds Accommodation Office.

Telephone & TV
Telephone sockets (subject to reconnection to the network at the tenants' expense) are fitted and television aerial sockets are provided in the lounge. There is cable television to the building but tenants are not permitted to fit satellite dishes.
Parking
There is a small amount of car parking at the development where spaces are not reserved. There are 8 garages available to rent (at an extra cost).
