The Development
Woodsley Terrace and Mount Preston Street is a terrace of Grade II listed Edwardian houses which were been renovated in 1996 to provide 32 two bedroom flats for students with dependants from the University of Leeds.
The property is situated on the edge of the University Campus and provides flats on four floors with a car park at the front of the development.
The flats have been renovated to a high standard including the fitting of energy efficient gas fired central heating systems, well designed kitchens and modern bathrooms with showers. Each flat has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Smaller Ground Floor flats on Woodsley Terrace are allocated to couples without children.
Ground Floor flats on Mount Preston Street side of the building have their own entrance which opens from the flats onto a block paved walkway. All other flats have a communal entrance with electronic door entry intercoms.
The development is managed by Unipol Student Homes and the flats are allocated by The University of Leeds Accommodation Office.
Telephone & TV
Telephone sockets (subject to reconnection to the network at the tenants' expense) are fitted in each flat and television aerial sockets are provided in the lounge. There is no cable television to the building and tenants are not permitted to fit satellite dishes.
Parking
There is a car park and a permit system operates (for an annual charge).
