If you need police advice or help, but not police attendance, call your local police helpdesk which is open 24 hours. Details of police services and how to contact your local police station can be found on the West Yorkshire Police website http://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/
Victim Support
Victim support consists of trained volunteers who can offer confidential support and information to victims of crime and anti social behaviour. Victim support also runs the Witness Service from every criminal court in West Yorkshire, providing victims and witnesses with emotional support and practical information about court proceedings.
Victim Support can provide:
• someone to talk to
• information on police and court proceedings
• help with compensation and insurance
• crime prevention information
• contact with other local organisations
You can contact Victim Support directly on 0113 395 1260 or make an appointment to see them at Unipol by e-mailing info@victimsupportleeds.org.uk
These services are provided by specialist experts who are independent of Unipol. Their help and advice is confidential to you.
These services compliment Unipol's general housing services and existing services designed to help you.
