1.30pm - 2.00pm What is a Repair, When Will it be Done? Reporting Repairs and Monitoring Completion. This session involves group work. Rachel Campey, Housing Manager, Unipol Student Homes.





2.00pm - 2.40pm Inspecting a Property and What to Look For: tenant behaviour, health and safety and disrepair. Victoria Loverseed, Development Manger, Unipol Student Homes.





2.40pm - 4.30pm Hands On Experience: A Visit to a Shared Student Cluster Flat in a Complex and a Shared Student Off-Street Property. Looking at management issues in occupied dwellings. This session involves group work.




Tea and coffee available on arrival back to the Board Room


4.30pm - 5.15pm Group Work: Evaluating the Visits and Reporting Back on Findings



5.15pm - 6.00pm Round table discussion on what was found and what was Important


6.00pm - 6.30pm Check in at the hotel

DAY TWO: Friday 3rd February 2011

12.30pm - 1.05pm A Summary of Recent Legislation and How it Affects Student Accommodation: The Housing Act 2004, Licensing, the Housing Health and Safety Ratings System, Deposit Protection and the Government Approved Codes. Martin Blakey, Chief Executive, Unipol Student Homes
