TRAINING SPONSORSHIP - LIBERTY LIVING PLC
Liberty Living PLC is pleased to sponsor Unipol Training
For 2009-2010 (and for the previous four years) Liberty Living PLC has sponsored Unipol Trainig providing a direct cash injection into the training programme. This helps underwrite the risk of new events and allows them to charge lower conference fees to delegates.
Liberty Living plc manages student and key worker accommodation on behalf of investment funds under the management of Brandeaux Fund Managers, working in conjunction with universities and other representative bodies to provide modern, stylish and affordable accommodation to the growing student population in the UK.
Commencing activity in 1999, Liberty Living now manages over 15,000 beds in 18 cities around the UK. Brandeaux Student Accommodation Fund, which operates exclusively under the Liberty Living brand, has invested over £300 million in the last year alone in acquiring existing high quality accommodation from other private providers and engaging with universities with which it has relationships to develop programmes for new student housing.
Our strategy is to acquire quality student accommodation in good locations and to add value by maximising customer satisfaction through imaginative, well serviced and well priced product. We are strong supporters of and are founder members of the ANUK Code of Standards. Our management model puts emphasis on the General Manager and their team to be responsible for the running of the site and the relationships with tenants and the university agencies that support those tenants, with support being provided in areas of professional expertise by head-office personnel based in London, Manchester and Nottingham for accounting and finance, facilities management, legislative compliance, human resources, marketing and project management.
Liberty Living has no control or influence over the content of the Unipol training programme, but has a fundamental belief that training for the industry is critical for the development of professional standards which is core to its operating strategy – and the reputation of the industry as a whole.
