New to Leeds?
If you are new to Leeds or moving here to start a course at College or University the Unipol pages have information that we hope can answer some of your queries about moving into Unipol accommodation. You can also join discussion groups and ask questions about Unipol accommodation, meet people before you arrive at your accommodation and find out about Unipol events.
Househunting
When you are searching for properties on Unipol’s website there is now the option to save a link to the property on your facebook profile, and show your friends and fellow housemates the property you are considering renting. Ideal for getting feedback on your househunting efforts or just to share.
All Unipol property searches you carry out, properties advertised you are interested in and useful student to student messages can now be easily shared with your friends on Facebook.
Just click the Facebook 'f' symbol on those pages and you'll be able to post the link to your profile and share with your friends.
Unipol events
The Facebook page includes information about Unipol events throughout the year. This includes dates of house hunting mixing days, the start date for househunting next year, news of Unipol campaigns and projects.
Your safety
We would always advise against putting contact and personal details such as your telephone number or the address of your house on Facebook. If you want to post information about room or properties for rent, we would suggest you use the Unipol ‘Student to Student’ noticeboard, which is moderated and also free.
Guidance Policy
Unipol will remove any posts that are likely to offend. If a comment is offensive, abusive or contravenes Unipol's ‘Equal Opportunities Policy’ then it shall be deleted and the user ‘blocked’ from using the group if necessary. View the Social Networking Guidance Policy here.
