Briefing on Market Conditions and Performance in the Nottingham Student Housing Market
Over 50 landlords and a number of other guests attended the latest Unipol Briefing on market conditions which took place on Friday 9th 2010 in Unipol’s Board Room.
With over 222,000 searches taking place in the first six months a number of initial conclusions could be drawn about the performance of the Leeds housing market since the house hunting season began in January.
In addition, the briefing looked at future student intake in Leeds and demand for accommodation against the back drop of cuts in the Higher Education sector.
A number of key issues were covered in relation to the coalition Government’s announcements regarding Housing and regulation including the Use Classes Order and changes to the Assured Shorthold Tenancy threshold.
