Martin Carter

Martin Carter is the Social Media Manager for the University of Leeds and oversees the social and digital strategy for the institution. Prior to working with the University, Martin worked in the non-profit space, with time at Comic Relief and Charities Aid Foundation. For two years Martin ran the #givingtuesday campaign, which trended #1 on Twitter for 24 hours and broke the world record for the most amount of money donated in a single day. Martin has a commercial background in social and digital and has run award winning campaigns for Hertz, MTV, ghd, BT, Maxinutrition and Saga in 12 territories.
