Synopsis

As competition increases between institutional providers, private providers and local landlords, it has never been more important to communicate with both tenants and potential future tenants in an effective manner. Information, tenant interaction, building brand loyalty and maximising lettings retention is now a vital part of running an accommodation operation.

This one day workshop looks at:

• Current trends in social media from an introductory and advanced perspective.

• Using social media effectively in student accommodation

• Increasing student engagement through improved marketing skills

• Top tips on creating a successful social media plan

All of these exist in a rapidly changing environment where students are at the cutting edge of technology and communication. The conference will include group work and the opportunity to share your experiences of using social media with colleagues of the student accommodation sector.
