Drop-in services available to students

All of these services are available free of charge to students in Nottingham.

You can either drop in or make an appointment by phoning 0115 846 8599, e-mailing info@nottingham.unipol.org.uk or calling into the Unipol Accommodation Bureau. Simply go to the Bureau counter and ask to use the relevant service. 

Tuesday 11am - 12 noon

PC Nick Barrett is available for students to contact him with any questions or issues concerning:

• crime prevention

• burglary

• personal safety issues

• general advice about Police matters and any other police related information

 You can also contact PC Barrett directly on his mobile on 07792 437 363 if you would like to speak to him concerning any issues related to crime or personal safety

Solicitors

Wednesday 2pm to 4pm
Venue - Alternates between Unipol bureau on University of Nottingham campus and the offices of French and Co Solicitors at 6 Derby Terrace (nr Canning Circus)

Provided by French and Co, a firm of solicitors in Nottingham which provides a wide range of legal services and can deal with specialist housing law and landlord and tenant problems, including:

• harassment by your landlord

• anti social behaviour issues

• repair problems

• return of deposits

• unsuitable accommodation

• contractual issues

• any problems relating to your tenancy or housing law

 
You can meet the solicitor at no cost and with no obligations. 30 minute appointments are available on request from bureau.
