Health and Safety Review Board

The Health and Safety Review Board, chaired by a trustee ensures that both the Health and Safety Housing and the Health and Safety office policies (and all risk assessments made) are kept under review and formally reviewed annually following input from the Assistant Chief Executive - Housing Services. An annual report is given to the Portfolio Committee who approve any significant policy changes.

The Assistant Chief Executive - Housing Services has a key role within that Review Board and will annual review:

  • all operational aspects of the Health and Safety Policy for Housing
  • all fire risk assessments (FRAs)
  • raise any difficulties encountered in that operation
  • suggest any improvements or changes that need to be made.
