We can help you find your next student home whether that is in halls, small self-contained flats or a house, we have a huge choice of properties in Leeds, Nottingham, and Bradford. We offer housing on a not for profit basis meaning there is no fees, hidden charges or guarantors. Our goal is to give you the best housing experience.
We have the House Hunting guide coming out soon which provides lots of useful information about looking for your next student home. We will be putting out more content on our social media too such as what to ask during a property viewing. Even though we don’t recommend looking for accommodation until November, it is important to learn about house hunting now so that you have more knowledge when it comes to making your decision.
Free Student Advice
As well as providing housing to students, we offer free, impartial advice. You can ask us about your rights, checking your contract, repairs and much more. Whatever your housing question, we have the answer.
It is more important now than ever to utilise the help that is available with the introduction of the Renter’s Rights Act. There are tips and in-depth information on the website that might answer your questions already, but you can also speak to our expert team if you need further help. No question is too small, we’re here to help you, even if it is with understanding the basics.
Find an Accredited Landlord
We also have the Unipol Code, which is something worth knowing about when you're House Hunting. Code-accredited properties can give you extra peace of mind and more reassurance as they meet a set of standards that landlords are required to follow. All Unipol properties are Code-accredited and we can help you find other accredited landlords.
Check Your Contract
Once you have found a property you like, it is important to not rush into signing the contract. We have a contract checking service on our website but if you have any questions, we can help you understand your contract before you sign.
Resolve Housing Issues
Even if you are already renting, we can still help you. Whether it’s issues such as damp and mould, questions about your tenancy or deposit concerns, you can get advice from us. The earlier you contact us the better as you usually have more options.
