Your Property Zone was created by Ruth Grierson as a resource for anyone with a passion for property. Ruth has a PhD from the School of Medicine at the University of Leeds and was subsequently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield. She began investing in property with her husband Chad Grierson in 2002. 

Chad spent 14 years in the army and reached the rank of Company Sergeant Major. After taking voluntary redundancy he then joined the police. He was awarded Police Officer of the Year for West Yorkshire in 1999 and then served as an armed police officer. 

Ruth and Chad now have over a decade of experience as property investors and own a portfolio of investment properties in Leeds, West Yorkshire and Lancashire.
