Nottingham Trent University House Hunting Advice

19/09/2018

Congratulations on getting your place at University.  If you are reading this as a prospective new student attending Nottingham Trent University and you have not yet secured accommodation in Nottingham please see a number of links below to help and support you.

Unipol works with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) and advertises properties for many providers of accommodation in Nottingham.  This year has been particularly busy as NTU sees record numbers of students wanting to attend their University.  This has meant that accommodation options are tight.  There are still rooms available but these are likely to be in shared student houses.

Contact details for NTU Accommodation Team

Their team can be contacted on 0115 848 2894 between 10am and 4pm and they will be open over the weekend.  If you are struggling to find accommodation please do contact the Student Services Centre in the Newton Building.  There are some short term accommodation options that they will be able to discuss with you.

There are a number of ways that you can search for accommodation

1.  Use the Unipol website - We have a small number of rooms available so please use our property search and contact landlords through the contact details information displayed on each advert.

Anything with the Thumbs up Code logo is accredited.  Find out about the Unipol Code

2. Use the Student Noticeboard.  At the moment this is a really good option given the small number of rooms now available through the main website.  Other students are advertising rooms available and you can contact the student directly for more information. Select 'Nottingham' as your city at the following link - Post on the Student Noticeboard

3. Read the House Hunting Guide.  This will give you an A-Z insight in to looking for accommodation in Nottingham. House Hunting Guide

Good Luck and we hope that you enjoy your year in Nottingham
